DataMan 700 Series Handheld ID Readers

DataMan 700 Series readers are the newest additions to the handheld family of Cognex high-performance ID code reading products. The DataMan 750 features award-winning Cognex IDMax® code reading software. The DataMan 750s reader is a general-purpose 1D/2D reader that uses the Cognex IDQuick™ reading technology. Both models have ESD Safe housing for electrically sensitive applications.

Compact size and ergonomic design make the 700 Series exceptionally easy to use, while the rugged design ensures long-term operation in industrial reading environments.

DataMan 750

Data Validation

Confirms that the content included within the 2D Data Matrix code conforms to the DoD’s UID construct format as well as ISO15434 and ISO15418.

Code Quality Verification

Confirms that the printed codes meet the quality guidelines as specified by AIM DPM and MIL-STD-130N.

DataMan Handheld Accessories

To simplify and speed up the system integration process, Cognex offers a wide range of optional accessories designed specifically for use with handheld DataMan® 7500 Series.

- DataMan 7550 spare battery: Additional battery provides 8 hours of charge during normal operation. (Battery is pictured in the battery sleeve).
- DataMan 7550 spare battery charging sleeve: The sleeve holds and positions the battery in the base station while charging.
- DataMan 7550 charging only base station: Additional base station for charging the DataMan 7550 batteries only.
- DataMan 7500 belt retractor: The belt includes a clip and swivel retractor which attaches to the latch plate built into the DataMan 7500 Series reader.
- DataMan 7500 overhead retractor: The overhead pulley attaches to the latch plate built into the DataMan 7500 Series reader to allow for it to be suspended over equipment.
- DataMan 7500 Presentation Stand: The stand has a custom holder specifically designed for the DataMan 7500 Series readers. The stand has a flexible weighted base and flexible neck to provide optimal presentation and storage positioning.
- DataMan 7500 Wall Mount Bracket: The bracket has a custom holder specially designed for the DataMan 7500 Series readers. The wall mount bracket includes a pair of nuts/bolts for metal frame mounting and wood screws for wall mounting.
