When you want to track a package, depend on PackageScan…
…and confirm that the package is delivered to its destination.
PackageScan Overview
PackageScan is a Package Tracking System that can assist you in making sure the packages that are shipped across the country make it across the plant, across the warehouse, or across the hall. PackageScan is a friend to the receiving manager, who has his day as well as his hands full, making sure that “his customers are receiving” their packages on a secure and timely basis. After he has received the packages at the receiving dock or in the mail room, the question “where is my package” can now be answered with “John signed for it at 10:45 in his office.”
Key Features:
Simple to Operate
To operate, the user needs to answer few simple questions and scan the barcode. This would take only few minutes – and that’s all PackageScan ever asks of you.
Multiple Package Scan
Allow to scan multiple packages at the same time and locate them in many different departments during the delivery process. Choose the department, and then scan all the packages that are delivered.
Accepting People ID Fully Captured
As deliveries are made, the folks that are accepting the delivery for the recipient are fully identified and that identification is captured in the mobile device. Typing the accepting person last name is mandatory, but first name field is optional. On the signature field the first name is highly recommended. Clicking save will capture the accepting person’s name and signature, and link it to the package IDs that were scanned.
Easier to Find Your Package
During the delivery process, any number of searches is available to assist in finding any and all packages for a given delivery point. Multiple search criteria are allowed if there are multiple packages scanned. You can scroll through the list using scroll bars.
Transfer your data in seconds
After capturing the delivered packages, the information can be transferred to another computer or system in seconds. Transfer your data from the handheld back to your PC; view where packages were sent, and who signed for them.
Custom Reporting
Any type of report can be customized using the data that has been captured during the delivery process. Print custom reports, ranging from specific dates or the last name of who signed for the package.
