A Flexible, Expandable Network

Randy Cockerham was experiencing a busy Monday, but wanted to take a few minutes to talk about his recent project with ScanOnline. His company, Distribution Technology has a 38-year history of helping their customers streamline their logistics needs. Located in Charlotte, NC, Randy had initially contacted ScanOnline about two years ago via an equipment manufacturer’s recommendation.

“I was looking for RF equipment and wireless networking upgrade for three of our warehouses, and ScanOnline continued to provide the information we needed until we were finally ready to initiate the project. “They understand good customer service sometimes involves patience,” Randy remarked.

“We were finally able to move forward with the installation of an RF backbone that will work concurrent with our old network until it can be phased out.  It will also grow with us when we expand our facilities. If we had not installed this RF network, we would not have the flexibility and expansion capabilities we need now as we look toward our future needs.”

Randy continued, “ I know ScanOnline will be able to grow the network with us. I am comfortable with the high level of expertise and see them as a partner in what we need to accomplish. I’ve enjoyed working with the team, and am confident if we have any issues, they will take care of it.  We also agreed upon practical backup and maintenance solutions.”
